Description:

Research grants may be used to employ assistants (technical or professional) or student trainees, to remunerate professional advisors, to purchase materials and supplies, and to support field travel costs related to research.

The Paediatric Division Physiotherapy Research Grant Related to Child and Adolescent Health Issues encourages research initiatives that will develop physiotherapy interventions in the treatment of child and adolescent issues related to neonatal care, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, cardiorespiratory, rheumatology, oncology, pain clinics and amputees.

Application Details:

Research projects must have a defined objective that is designed to further develop the art and science of physiotherapy.

A specific eligibility criterion for this award is that successful applicants must be a member in good standing of the Paediatric Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Applicants must submit one hard copy and one soft copy of the completed application and all attachments (applicants are responsible for making certain they are using current version of the application regulations and guidelines).

INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT SUPPORTED BY THIS PROGRAM

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline.
