Application Details:

The OHTN is particularly eager to develop CBR and partnerships between community organizations and researchers working in areas such as, but not limited to, housing, mental health, addictions, activity limitations and employment, health services and access to care for vulnerable and hard to reach populations, and issues affecting ethno-racial communities. Before initiating a request for Capacity-Building Funds, applicants should read the guidelines for submission and must consult with the OHTN Assistant Director of Research Development and KTE to ensure that: - the project fits within the scope of this funding mechanism. - the issue is not already being addressed through another project. - funds are still available within the fiscal year.

Consultation and partnership with community stakeholders is a critical component and a required element of the OHTN process for funding. Applications must describe current and/or intended collaborative consultations and partnerships with relevant community stakeholders applicable to proposed capacity building activities, approach, impact, and where relevant, strategic application of proposed capacities in practice. Please submit five (5) hardcopies of the completed application with support documentation and submit one electronic copy of the completed application to the Assistant Director of Research Development and KTE, Anna van der Meulen, at ameulen@ohtn.on.ca.
