Awards of up to $5,000 are available to facilitate the preparation of a scientific product in tobacco control research (ie, literature review, pilot study, funding proposal, a paper submission to peer-reviewed publications, an expert panel consensus statement, etc.). The proposal could address the suggested topics on the Sponsor's website or another research questions, need, and/or gap in current practice guidelines identified by practitioners. Applicants will need to confirm that they and their home department is not currently accepting and will not accept during the award period any grant or anything of value from any tobacco manufacturer, distributor, or
other tobacco-related company |

Application Details: |
Lead investigator must hold an appointment or must be a full-time trainee at a Canadian university, organization or institution and demonstrate a commitment to tobacco control research. The Application form is in Microsoft Word format. All responses should be typed into the body of the
proposal with 12pt text (Times). Attachments will not be accepted in response to questions. One original application package: the completed application package includes the application form
and supplemental pages and documents. Please do not staple or bind the pages of your original
copy. Use a binder clip to secure the full package of originals. Please ensure that your first and last
names appear in the upper left corner and a page number appear in the lower left corner of each

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
