Description:

To contribute to the creation, dissemination and use of health-related knowledge, and to help develop and maintain Canadian health research capacity, by supporting original, high quality projects proposed and conducted by individual researchers or groups

The purpose of this funding opportunity is to further strengthen Canadian and international health research by supporting high-quality, novel, innovative, and inventive investigations that focus on the impacts of sleep disruption and sleep loss (due to Sleep Disordered Breathing (SDB), insomnia, Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS), circadian disorders or a combination of these conditions) on Canadian's cardiovascular, metabolic, and mental health, as well as their performance, cognition, and safety.
