Biomedical Research (Operating) Grants provide financial support to medical researchers to assist in defraying the operating costs of research, which may include the purchase and maintenance of experimental animals, the purchase of materials The Biomedical Research Grants Guidelines 2010 Competition, supersede all previous Kidney Foundation of Canada Biomedical Research Grants Guidelines. Applicants should always refer to the latest version. |

Application Details: |
Grants are available for one, two or three years, commencing July 1, for up to $50,000 per year. The research must be carried out in Canada. Young investigators with less than 36 months of first faculty experience eligible to apply. The Kidney Foundation of Canada reserves the right to DECLINE INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS (for example if the application is missing the Principal Applicant and/or Co-Applicant's CV Module, Budget Module).

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
