Description:

FAAN awards grants to support the research activities of qualified researchers conducting meritorious research. The goal of the Research Grant Program is to support high quality research in the Epidemiology, Etiology, Treatment and Prevention of Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis. These research priorities have been developed from our long-term knowledge of the needs of individuals with food allergies and the questions scientists are trying to answer. Although proposals involving basic or clinical research are accepted, applications that will lead to an immediate or potential impact on the healthcare of persons with IgE-mediated food allergy are especially encouraged.

Submission of full proposals is by invitation only. Those who are selected to submit a full proposal will be notified by email. Only applicants who have been invited to submit a full proposal will be considered for funding. Applicants who are invited to submit a full proposal are also required to send a signed original, one copy of the application, and all accompanying materials to FAAN. The paper copy of the application should include copies of all completed forms submitted to the proposalCENTRAL website. Paper copies of full proposals must be received or postmarked by 26 August 26 2009. Mail the completed and signed original application and one copy to the Sponsor by their deadline date.
