FAPESP, University of Toronto and Western University Researcher Exchange Award

A Western International Competition

The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), the University of Toronto and WESTERN UNIVERSITY are jointly issuing a public call for proposals to invite interested researchers to submit research proposals to their own affiliated institution for the Exchange of Researchers between the State of São Paulo and Canada within the scope of the following Scientific Cooperation Agreement.

This Call for Proposals is open to researchers in all fields of knowledge. The duration of the projects for the exchange of researchers and post-doctoral fellows may be as long as 24 months. However, they must begin and end within the time frame of the ongoing related project funded by FAPESP.

This program will award each successful Western applicant the equivalent of up to $10,000 Canadian per year up to two years (total of $20,000) to cover travel (air tickets), health insurance and living allowances for researchers visiting their collaborators in the State of São Paulo.

Process

Internal program applications are processed through Western International and must be accompanied by a completed ROLA Proposal.

Report

Final Report - due no later than 3 months after grant termination.
