The ADF New Research and Scholarly Initiative Awards are intended to support research initiatives for individuals, disciplinary teams and cross disciplinary and inter-disciplinary teams. Applications for both the Major and Small Grant competitions are invited from faculty of all disciplines. Please contact your Faculty or Research Development & Services for details.

The purpose of the New Research and Scholarly Initiative Awards for Major Grants is to promote the academic development of the University by providing seed funds for new research and scholarly initiatives. The Major Grant competitions are intended to support Special Projects and are not for the support or maintenance of existing or ongoing programs.
