Laureates of the Hall of Fame are Canadian men and women who, now and in the past, have contributed to the understanding of disease and the improved health and well-being of people everywhere. Any two individuals may nominate a candidate (living or posthumous) who they feel is worthy of induction

Nominations must be submitted according to the following important guidelines:
For nominations made by individuals, two individuals must serve as the nominators and they are required to submit a nomination letter. Each nominator may submit their own letter, or they may submit one letter that is co-signed
For nominations made by an organization, one nomination letter signed on behalf of the organization is sufficient
A nomination form must also be completed with particular attention given to the citation in which the contribution(s) justifying the nominee’s induction into the Hall of Fame is clearly stated in 3-4 sentences or bulleted points.
A curriculum vitae or biography is mandatory
Optional supporting documents to a maximum of 8 pages may include letters of support, news and journal articles
Indirect costs are not supported by this program.
No internal adjudication will be offered for this award.
Nominations and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed ROLA Proposal. Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline.
