The London Regional Transgenic & Gene Targeting Facility (LRTGT) was established in 2003 as a collaborative endeavor between The University of Western Ontario, Lawson Health Research Institute, Robarts Research Institute and the London Regional Cancer Program.  The LRTGT provides services to generate genetically modified mice through pronuclear injection and gene targeting in ES cells.  For London based researchers, we also rederive and cryopreserve lines for distribution.  Towards this end
the LRTGT is establishing a mouse
embryo bank to enhance
collaborations for researchers
locally, nationally, and
internationally.
