NEURORADIOLOGY FELLOWSHIP

  • a two year advanced Neuroradiology Training Program is offered by the Neuroradiology section of the Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Western Ontario commencing July 1 of each year
  • provides extensive experience in the performance and interpretation in all aspects of modern Neuroradiology

This includes:

  • CT and MR scanning of the head and spine
  • Spine interventions
  • Angiography, including superselective techniques for diagnostic as well as interventional therapeutic purposes
  • ultrasound of neck vessels
  • intraoperative ultrasound
  • training also provides the opportunity to participate in a very active and comprehensive Clinical Neurological Sciences Program
  • facilities and opportunities for basic research in Neuroradiology are available at the University affiliated Research Institutes (Robarts and Lawson)
  • the program is approved by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, under which Neuroradiology is a subspecialty in the category of "accreditation without certification"
  • the program is designed for Radiologists who have completed or are completing Residency Training in Medical Imaging
  • entry into Canada is entirely under the control of Employment and Immigration Canada.Non‑Canadian applicants require an employment visa and must check with the CanadianConsulate so they will be fully informed of the requirements and regulations
