The Education Project
The Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Western Ontario
The success of the Department of Medical Imaging's Education Project's First International Conference on Expanding Scholarship in Medical Imaging Education caused the formation of the Society for Scholarship in Medical Imaging Education.
The Executive Members of the Society are in the process of planning the Second International Conference on Expanding Scholarship in Medical Imaging Education.

Our Vision
Three Goals:
1. Strengthen curriculum design and implementation (including IT) in response to educational needs;
2. Support and guide ‘the art of teaching’ for faculty and residents at both practical and theoretical levels;
3. Advance educational scholarship in medical imaging education.
Three Deliverables:
1. Enhance Medical Imaging curriculum;
-at the post-graduate level, to meet RCPSC requirements
-at the undergraduate level through collaboration with the Dean’s office
2. Organize Education workshops for faculty members and residents;
3. Publish papers in peer-review journals on Radiology Education.
