CROSS-SECTIONAL IMAGING FELLOWSHIP
Introduction
- a comprehensive 12 months fellowship that includes whole body Ultrasound CT and MRI
- about 70% of the MRI volume case includes MSK and Neuroradiology
- the remaining volume comprises abdominal, pelvic, cardiovascular and breast MRI
- there is a possibility to focus in specific areas of interest
- there is also possibility to get exposure to some interventional procedures
- the fellow will have half day protected academic time for research projects
Combined Breast Imaging and Cross-sectional Imaging
- This program offers 6 months rotation in breast imaging, 2 months Ultrasound, 2 months CT and 2 months MRI
- There is ability to focus in specific areas of interest
- we offer on-site clinical research facilities with dedicated research scientists from Robarts and Lawson's Research Institute
- Ongoing research projects include: MRI of the breast, photoacustic breast ultrasound and many other topics
- several projects are done in collaboration with Breast Surgery
- the fellow will have half day protected academic time for research projects
