Campus Council named to enhance communication and consultation

For the past several months, I and members of Western’s senior administrative team have been meeting regularly with members of the Unity Group, a group consisting of the executive leaders representing each of the University’s faculty, staff and student associations.

For instance, it was through the Campus Council that we were recently able to present a joint submission to Bob Rae’s review panel on the future of higher education on behalf of faculty, staff, students and the University’s administrative team.

It is my hope that Campus Council members will continue working together to improve internal communications at Western and to help build a sense of common purpose among all members of our campus community.
