
Meredith Legault, Financial Officer is one of seven Western staff recognized as a recipient of The 2011 Western Award of Excellence.
Thank you to all nominators for the 2012 Western Award of Excellence. Over 50 nominations were received for an outstanding group of Western staff members. Please plan to attend the 2012 Western Award of Excellence Presentation Ceremony and Reception set for Thursday, February 16 at 2:30 p.m. in the Great Hall in Somerville House.
Reception Registration:
Registration to attend the award's presentation ceremony and reception
is available by following these steps:
1. Sign into "myHuman Resources" (Requires a Western User ID & Password)
2. Select Manage Training Registration
3. Select Enroll in Internal Training Courses
4. Search by Course Name - Course Name is "Western Award of Excellence"
6. Click on the session you plan to attend
7. Submit your registration
8. Print the confirmation screen for your records
These awards represent Western's highest level of recognition for staff members. Western faculty, staff, students & alumni are encouraged to nominate an individual staff member or a team of staff who make outstanding contributions to our campus community.
Since the awards began 49 Western staff have received the Western of Excellence and over 500 outstanding staff have been nominated.

Congratulations to all those nominated for the 2011 Western Award of Excellence.
The Western Award of Excellence was been developed through a comprehensive consultative process and the goal of this recognition is to:
- Provide an opportunity to increase the awareness of and to celebrate the exceptional performance of Western Staff.
- Provide meaningful and enriching recognition, respect and appreciation to staff by other staff, faculty and students.
- Help to foster a culture of recognition across the University and will complement and encourage recognition programs at the individual department levels.
