Join us in an exciting, hands-on event where you can build a real robot gripper from scratch & see some cool robots in action.
…. Don’t worry, we will show you how to build a gripper.

Join CPSX researcher Dr. Mehrdad Kermani and his group to learn about robotic grippers and arm workshop during the Science Literacy Week. The participants will be building the simplet human-actuated gripper using 3D printed parts. In addition to building, there will be demonstration of several actual robotic grippers with flexible fingers.

This event is specifically for kids, 8 yrs old and above. Parents and siblings are welcome to attend. As this workshop takes places in a lab space, this event is limited to 20 participants and hence, prior registration is required.
