Canadian MSK Rehab Research Network Bone and Joint Institute

Technical Groups

The Technical Groups are working committees that take on key areas of activity within the network. They work directly with the Leadership Committee to achieve the network objectives and develop core methods, zones of commonality, and outcome measures for key research priority areas such as:

  • Biomechanics
  • Clinical outcomes
  • Wearable sensors
  • Trial Methods
  • Equity
  • Economic Evaluation
  • Patient Engagement
  • Knowledge Translation
  • Training & Mentoring

At network meetings we will launch think-tank sessions on these technical issues and include other specific issues based on network choices such as Falls or Exercise.

Membership

The groups will engage people across multiple platforms to develop cross-centre collaborations and research initiatives. Engagement and Equity and Training and Mentorship will be cross-cutting themes managed by the Leadership Committee. The Knowledge Translation Technical Group will work closely with the Leadership Committee and administrative staff to develop and implement the KT plan and will work closely with network members to monitor the uptake of network outputs.
