Canadian MSK Rehab Research Network Bone and Joint Institute

About Us

In 2016 our group of more than 80 researchers, collaborators and knowledge users, as well as 20 partner and consumer groups, received a $600,000 grant from the CIHR Institute for MSK Health and Arthritis to establish the Canadian MSK Rehab Research Network.

Combined with multi-partner cash and in-kind contributions totaling over $1.5 million, these funds are supporting the Network and its members for the next three years as we strive to address the large pain and disability burden caused by bone, joint, muscle, and nerve problems.

The Network is led by an experienced team of investigators that span the country and a wide array of MSK health research. The Network co-investigators include Dr. Joy MacDermid and Dr. Trevor Birmingham from Western, Dr. Jean-Sebastien Roy from Laval, Dr. Janie Wilson from Dalhousie, and Dr. Stephen Robinovitch from Simon Fraser University.

More detail about the specific roles of the Leadership Committee, Advisory Board, Administrative Hub, Research and Technical Groups is available in the navigation pane.
