Crime Alerts
Crime Alerts
Crime Alerts are issued when personal safety information is received by Campus Police and it would be advisable to alert specific areas of campus or all members of the campus community to the situation. These Bulletins are also circulated as an Alert to campus members for the protection of property when incidents occur and an advisory would be of preventive benefit. An example is:
Break and Enters
During the first 3 weeks of September Campus Police have investigated many break and enters with lap tops & other electronic equipment stolen, mostly from residences.
Entry was gained through open doors and windows, by punching holes in walls to by-pass locks in offices, the removal of a window air conditioner, etc.
Residences targeted to date:
Delaware Hall, Hellmuth at Huron College, Essex Hall, Saugeen-Maitland, Ausable Hall and Brescia University College.
