The Joint Motion Program (JuMP) is a CIHR Strategic Training Program in Musculoskeletal Health Research and Leadership. Trainees have the unique opportunity to participate in cutting-edge transdisciplinary research and knowledge translation, while gaining the leadership skills and experience that are essential for scientific progress in the 21st century. JuMP trains leaders who can meet the upcoming challenges in musculoskeletal health research and who will significantly improve the health, mobility and quality of life of Canadians.

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Dr. Cheryle Seguin to the JuMP Program as the new Co-Director. Cheryle will be working with Trevor Birmingham to wind up the program in its final years. This is certainly a bitter sweet announcement as Dr. Jeff Dixon takes leave of the program leadership of which he has been such a integral part. We look forward to continuing to work with Dr. Dixon when he returns from his sabbatical as a Mentor and "Leader at Large" .
The next competition deadline for the Joint Motion Trainee Program is August 18th, 2014 for a September 1st, 2014 Program Intake.
