Degree Programs
Honors Specialization
Honors Specialization may be combined with a Major, a Minor, and/or Optional courses totalling no more than 6.0 credits.
Admission Requirements
- Completion of first-year requirements with no failures.
- Students must have an average of at least 70% in 3.0 principal courses, with no mark in these principal courses below 60%.
- 1.0 course from Philosophy 1020, 1022E, 1100E, 1200 is recommended.
Requirements if admitted during or after September 2006
9.0 courses as follows:
- 0.5 course: Philosophy 2260F/G (225F/G), 2400F/G (246F/G), 2500F/G (200F/G)
- 1.5 courses: Philosophy 2200F/G (210F/G), 2202F/G (211F/G), 2700F/G (201F/G)
- 1.0 course from:
- Philosophy 2250 (212) or 2252W/X (234W/X) or the former 222A/B
- an additional 0.5 course in Philosophy at the 2200 level or above

Note: Students using Philosophy 3500E (King’s) or the former Philosophy 332E and/or Philosophy 3700E (King’s) to meet module requirements may reduce the 2.5 additional courses in Philosophy at the 3000 level or above accordingly.

Major
Double Majors can be registered in either Major's faculty (if the Major modules are not from the same faculty) and may be combined with Optional courses totalling no more than 3.0 credits.

Major in Sexuality Studies
Sexuality Studies is an interdisciplinary intra-faculty module in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, administered by the Departments of Modern Languages and Literatures, Classical Studies, English, Film Studies, Philosophy, and Visual Arts, with the Department of Women's Studies and Feminist Research as the lead unit.(read more)
