Cycling at the University of Western Ontario

Cycling is a great way to get where you are going and is the cleanest commute available. Whether you join a carpool, or ride the bus, you are helping The University of Western Ontario improve air quality and reduce traffic congestion. You benefit by exercising, reducing your transportation cost, and enjoying a refreshing bicycle ride!

Bicycle Parking and Storage Lockers

Bicycle racks
There are close to three hundred and fifty bicycle racks strategically located on campus to park your bicycle.  Your feedback is important to us, please contact parking@uwo.ca if you have any questions / comments with regards to the bike racks.

Bicycle Locker

bikelocker Conveniently located throughout campus, these spacious lockers will provide safety and protection for your bicycle and bike gear. Most standard size bikes will fit the 4 feet 2 inches high, 6 feet 5 inches deep and 4 feet 8 inches wide. Some tandem bikes or recumbent bike may not fit into the lockers.
  Lockers are available on a first come-first served basis. If there are no lockers available at the time of your request, your name will be added to a waiting list until a locker becomes available. Once a locker becomes available you will be contacted by parking services. Locker renewals must be renewed 2 weeks prior to the expiry date of their locker agreement.
Locker Locations:
- 6 Lockers are located in front of the North Campus Building
- 10 Lockers are located on the concrete beach near the Japanese Gardens
- 4 Lockers are located behind Support Services Building

Bicycle Locker Application / Contract Form

Campus Bike Registry

Register your bicycle with the Campus Community Police Service. This is a free service. If your bicycle is ever stolen or recovered, having the registration information available will improve the chances of your property being returned.
