The Paediatric Cardiac Program located at Children's Hospital is a fully integrated program with specialized services including consultation and echocardiography, arrhythmia, pace maker surveillance, and maternal and fetal consultation including echocardiography. The program also provides support to adult congenital heart patients. The program is a component of the Ontario provincial pediatric cardiology network with cardiovascular surgery services provided through the Hospital for Sick Children.
A Nurse Practitioner clinic for care of pre-operative and post-operative surgical patients is provided as well as an anti coagulation surveillance program for children with cardiovascular disease. A limited diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization program is provided in London with more complex intervention performed in Toronto.

There are four full-time paediatric cardiologists, one full-time nurse practitioner, part-time dietitian, pharmacist and social worker. The team requires a minimum of two full-time paediatric echo cardiology technicians.
