  • Click here for Observership requests
  • Please note that the London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP) is located at the Victoria Hospital site and that our clinics run from 9am to 12noon, and starting again at 1pm to 4pm, Monday to Friday (LRCP clinics are closed on Public Holidays). For driving directions and a map to the LRCP see: http://www.lhsc.on.ca/About_Us/LRCP/Parking_Maps_Directions/index.htm
  • Observership students shall maintain the standard of ethical behaviour as laid down by the CMA code of ethics located at www.cma.ca
  • Students are to make arrangements of date, time, physician, etc. directly with the physician (contact details of each physician is within the Disease Site Teams)

  • WU Schulich Students (London):
    • Optional Observership Presentation
    • Students are to make arrangements of date, time, physician, etc. on their own. Please note that students are only permitted to have clinical electives outside of class time - i.e. Year 1 students can do clinical electives in the afternoons, and Year 2 students, in the mornings.
    • Once these arrangements are made, then students are required to log their observership with the Undergraduate Medical Education Office. This is done by using a database tool called Single Sign On. It is mandatory that students add the Observership information to Single Sign On, PRIOR to the observership. Please add Kimberly Trudgeon to the c.c. field when you register this Observership on Single Sign On so she can be copied in related observership details.

All other students/observership requests (Non Western University, Schulich Students) (Observership procedure through LHSC Medical Affairs - Please complete and process at least 2 weeks prior to observership date)

Disease Site Teams and Members:

We have the following multi-disciplanary disease site teams in Oncology, and students can approach team members directly to arrange for an observership as per the above guidelines (please note the two different procedures (above) for observership requests for UWO Medical Students and all other students)
