Registration, Application and Pre-placement Process
Student Checklist

The following table outlines the neccessary steps that a co-op student must take to initiate an efficient and effective partnership with the PEL co-op program. These steps must be taken prior to the academic year in which the co-op begins. For this process to be complete, all steps must be undertaken.

FEB & MAR
Complete in-school registration for academic cooperative education course.

MAR
Respond to invitation to London Health Research Day - an event showcasing health research in our community.

MAR & APR
Attend the co-op teacher interview to qualify for co-operative education and follow-up with a second interview with your co-op teacher that will focus your interest on a PEL placement in an academic workplace. Follow the instructions for the 2nd Interview.

APR & MAY
Complete the summary registration spreadsheet as directed by your co-op teacher.

APR & MAY
Create a Google Account, Gmail address and Google Drive.

APR & MAY
Submit the four part PEL Application and resume to your co-op teacher for editing.

APR & MAY
Attend the mandatory group Interview with the PEL Director that was arranged by the co-op teacher.

JUNE
Attend mandatory 11th Annual Oncology Research & Education Day
showcasing cancer research in our community.
