Registration, Application and Pre-placement Process
Student Checklist
The following table outlines the neccessary steps that a co-op student must take to initiate an efficient and effective partnership with the PEL co-op program. These steps must be taken prior to the academic year in which the co-op begins. For this process to be complete, all steps must be undertaken.

Register as directed and attend the PEL Information Seminar. This seminar has been cancelled. |

Complete in-school registration for academic cooperative education course. |
| 3 | 2013 MAR 19 |
Respond to invitation to London Health Research Day - an event showcasing health research in our community. |
| 4 | 2013 MAR & APR |
Attend the co-op teacher interview to qualify for co-operative education and follow-up with a second interview with your co-op teacher that will focus your interest on a PEL placement in an academic workplace. Follow the instructions in the Pre-PEL Co-op 2nd Interview. |

Complete the online PEL Registration as directed by your co-op teacher |
| 6 | 2013 APR & MAY |
Create a Google Account, Gmail address and submit your resume and 3 page PEL Application to the PEL Dropbox |
| 7 | 2013 APR & MAY |
Submit the four part PEL Application to your co-op teacher for editing. |
| 8 | 2013 APR & MAY |
Attend the PEL Interview with the PEL Director that was arranged by the co-op teacher. |

Attend mandatory 10th Annual Oncology Research & Education Day showcasing cancer research in our community. |
