Symposium Closing Keynote to be delivered by Professor Alberto Reppold

Professor Alberto Reppold will deliver the closing Keynote Address at the 2016 International Symposium for Olympic Studies, to be held on the campus of the State University of Espírito Santo, Vitória, July 30-31. Professor Reppold will investigate "The Legacy of the Rio 2016 Olympics for Brazilian Sport and Physical Education." Professor Reppold's Address is scheduled for the afternoon of July 31. 

Professor Repold’s Keynote will be the inaugural version of Arete’s newly established Mario Cantarino Ribeiro Filho Lecture.

Professor Reppold is currently associate professor and Director of the School of Physical Education, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil. He also teaches in the Human Movement Science Graduate Program and coordinates the Olympic Studies Centre. He is a member of the Brazilian Olympic Academy and was visiting professor at the International Olympic Academy.
