Susan Scollie, PhD, is the Director of the Child Amplification Laboratory. Her team researches the development and evaluation of successful hearing aid interventions for children, and has previously transferred licensed technologies to the hearing industry for hearing aid prescription and speech reception testing.
Our current students in the Child Amplification Lab work with internationally-recognized leaders in pediatric audiology. Students earning their doctoral or master's degree engage in hands-on experience, data collection, analysis, and dissemination. Scholarly articles produced from our lab add to a growing body of best-practice literature and protocols in our field.
