Siemens
Symposium
in Audiology
Dr. Ross has publi= shed and lectured extensively on hearing loss and has received many honours from professional and consumer organizations. As a hearing aid wearer for over 50 years, Dr. Ross brings a special degree of credibility to his lectures and publications.
The mode= l with which hearing aids are selected does not lend itself to include much of what hearing-impaired people require in regards to the total problems caused by = the hearing loss. In this presentation, Dr. Ross will discuss how current procedures evolved, the se= rvices and information required by people with hearing loss, and how these can be provided in a group follow-up hearing aid orientation program.
