Director
David Purcell, PhD
Dr. Purcell is a Principal Investigator at the National centre for Audiology and an Assistant Professor, Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Communication Sciences and Disorders. His research focuses on auditory electrophysiology, otoacoustic emissions, and objective indicators of auditory function along with their relationship to behavioral performance. He also investigates the use of auditory feedback in the maintenance of accurate vowel production using real-time acoustic perturbations during speech.
