The Killam Research Fellowships are highly distinguished research grants supporting scholars of exceptional ability engaged in research projects of broad significance and interest. They provide two years’ release time from teaching and administrative responsibilities, with regular salary and benefits, to devote time and energy to research. Eligible studies are in social/natural/health sciences, engineering, humanities, or studies linking multiple disciplines. The internal deadline for application submission is Thursday, May 1, 2014. An information session on the Killam Program, which also includes the $100,000 Killam Prizes, will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 in the Support Services Building, Room 4220, at 10:30 AM. It will be led by Ms. Luiza Pereira, Program Officer for the Killam Program. See the attached Purpose of Visit document for further details. Please let me know if you plan to attend this session.
