Audition Information

MMus in Literature and Performance Program

Live auditions

Auditions will be held on February 15, 16, and 17 2013. Please email musicgradaudition@uwo.ca or phone 519-661-2111 ext. 87786 to arrange your audition. A list of professional accompanists as well as information on accommodation will be provided when your audition is booked.

If you must send in a recorded audition, please submit a DVD recorded no more than 9 months prior to the application date, accompanied by a letter certifying its authenticity. Please email graduatemusic@uwo.ca if you plan to send a recording.

DMA Program

Admission Requirements

Applicants to the DMA program must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent. All students must be fluent in written and spoken English. International students must demonstrate proficiency in English with a TOEFL.

Live auditions

On the basis of the foregoing materials, successful applicants will be invited to campus for a live audition on February 15, 16, or 17 2013.  Auditions will include performance of prepared repertoire as outlined in the “DMA Audition Requirements by Instrument” link below, an interview, and examinations that may include the following:
