Audio Guides

Retired Teachers of OntarioThanks to the generous support of the Retired Teachers of Ontario, a new initiative has been launched to create audio tours for both the indoor Museum Gallery exhibits and the outdoor Village Site.

In 2007, RTO/ERO District 8, through their Project - Service To Others program, has secured $2,000 to purchase the equipment to make and present MP3 audio tours, as well as a new printed map guide. This project will enhance visitor experiences at the Museum, as visitors can look, listen, and learn on their journey through the Museum. It also increases accessibility to learn about Ontario's rich cultural heritage, offering more ways to interact with the site and exhibits.

The audio players can be borrowed on your visit to the museum, or you can download the audio files to your own MP3 player and bring them with you. Even if you can't make it to the museum, you can listen to these at home and learn more about what the Museum of Ontario Archaeology has to offer.

The files will be posted below as they are completed.
