                        Legend of the Dreamcatcher
There are many variations on the legend of dreamcatchers.
One legend is that dreamcatchers were used by the Woodland peoples and was hung in the lodge near the bedroom window.
It caught all dreams, both good and bad. The bad dreams would get caught in the webbing and be held there until first
morning light where it would burn away. The good dreams were caught too, but they knew their way to the hole in the
centre where they could filter down into the feathers and be held there and be dreamt again.
