A Truly Canadian Museum

The Museum of Ontario Archaeology is a unique Canadian museum devoted to the study, display, and interpretation of the human occupation of Southwestern Ontario over the past 11,000 years. The Museum is located beside the Lawson Prehistoric Iroquoian Village, a site occupied by the Neutral Iroquoians in the 16th century A.D.

Purchase a Pole in Support of the Museum's Revitalization Project of London's First Village

A $25 donation will help us pay for one of our poles on our newly re-built palisade.
· Tax receipts will be issued in the full amount
· Your contribution will be acknowledged with your name, or in memory of loved ones, on a 1” x 3” engraved plaque which will be nailed to a pole in the palisade surrounding the village

Click here to purchase your pole.

Exciting changes have been taking place on the Lawson site as well. Construction of a new Palisade and Longhouse began in July 2007. Click here to learn more about the Village site and see pictures of the reconstruction.
