ads perpetuate power and domination in relationships
between men and women!
- Heterosexuals
are given permission to carry on that way in
public through these ads!
- What kinds
of messages do heterosexual images give children?
"Heterosexual"
ads are just as political as "homosexual"
ads, since "heterosexual"
ads maintain heterosexuality as the norm.
Anything outside of the norm, i.e. homosexuality,
is considered "deviant"
and therefore heavily scrutinized and subjected
to different standards of acceptability.
