CALL FOR PAPERS


WHO?
You! Anyone can attend the wide range of talks that Wisslr hosts. Also, if you are a student of any level, of any affiliate, you can also apply to present.

WHAT?
Wisslr is a student run conference created for students to present their interdisciplinary linguistically related research and ideas.

WHERE?
The conference will take place in the Arts and Humanities Building on Western University Campus

WHEN?
This year marks the 11th annual conference. It will take place on Friday March 9th 2018.

WHY?
This is a great way to present your original research and ideas. In attending you will also learn more about the current research going on in the linguistic world.

HOW?
If you wish to present at Wisslr you must be a student of any level, from any academic domain. You must also submit an original abstract relating to linguistics. Topics may come from any field of inquiry that can be used to study language.


Requirements for the abstract:

  • -No more than one page, approximately 250 words, 12 size font with a separate page for references.   
  • -Please send your anonymized abstract (your name should not appear in the document) as an attachment.
  • -Please include in the body of your email: your name, academic affiliation, email, title and whether you have any accessibility requests.   
  • -Send abstract towisslr.uwo@gmail.com by Sunday December 9th 2017
