  • 1 digital phone with 1 extension number and 1 voice mailbox associated with the extension number. A Rental of $5 per month per student has been included in your residence bill.  If you register with Primus for Long Distance Service, you can use your Primus PAC number to make long distance calls from this phone. You cannot cancel the local service on this telephone.

What is the UWO Provided Telephone Service in a Suite Bedroom? How much does it cost? Who provides the telephone? What features are available? Can I make Long Distance Calls from this phone?

  • 1 analog phone jack with 1 extension numbers and 1 voice mailbox is associated with the extension number.  A rental fee of $20 per month per student has been included in your residence bill.  You provide any analog telephone set.  Each line is equipped with Voice Mail ("Call Answer"), Call Wait, Last Number Redial.  If you register with Primus for Long Distance Service, you can use your Primus PAC number to make long distance calls from this phone.  You cannot cancel the local service on this telephone.

Can I choose an alternate Long Distance Provider? What would it cost?

  • You are free to choose any other Long Distance Provider. Long Distance costs vary among vendors. To use an alternate Long Distance vendor, you must also arrange for local service from Bell Canada. Once you have Bell Canada provided local service, contact the Long Distance vendor to arrange service.

How do I order local service from Bell Canada? What would it cost? How long will it take to be installed?
