SAS Site License

General Information:

SAS 9.3 or SAS 9.2 installation kits are now available.
Western's undergraduates can access SAS in any of the GenLabs.
NOTE: SAS 9.2 is the current version available in the GenLabs.
There is no fee for current Western faculty, staff, graduate students and undergraduates to install SAS workstation software on a Western-owned system.
Professors and instructors (including graduate students) can install SAS on their home/personal computers if it is to be used for Western research and/or class preparation.
ITS manages the software site license only.
License period: June 1, 2011 - May 31, 2012

Contact the Site License Coordinator to request the SAS installation media kit.

Windows 7 (32-bit or x64): Home Premium; Professional; Enterprise; or Ultimate
Windows Vista (32-bit or x64): Ultimate; Business; or Enterprise
Windows XP (32-bit) Pro: recommend MS Windows service pack 2 or higher

Support:

Installation questions/problems can be resolved by the ITS Help Desk at 519 661-3800 (x83800), however, there is no Statistical software support beyond the installation of the software.

September through April:

Assistance with the Statistical software can be found at the Statistics Help Centre 519 661-2111 (x86307) located in the Western Science Building (WSC 250).
