Office of the Registrar Tools in OWL

The following guide will help you use the Office of the Registrar Tools in OWL. These tools allow you to provide your students with Office of the Registrar class schedule and exam schedule information from within OWL. As such, whenever the Registrar class schedule and exam schedule, the information in your OWL course will also be updated. You will learn how to:


Adding a Registrar Class Schedule

To add a Registrar Class Schedule to your course, click on the BUILD tab. You can add this tool to any folder or learning module in your course by first clicking on the ADD CONTENT LINK button at the top of your course page and clicking on REGISTRAR CLASS LIST SCHEDULE. Your Registrar Class Schedule inventory will appear. Click on CREATE REGISTRAR CLASS SCHEDULE.

On the next page, enter a title for your Class Schedule. Leaving the other options in their default, click SAVE.

Once you have clicked SAVE, you will return to the folder that you started from and a link to the Class Schedule you just created will be displayed. When your students click on the link, they will see something similar to the image shown below:


Adding a Registrar Exam Schedule

Adding a Registrar Exam Schedule to your course is very similar to adding a Registrar Class Schedule. You can add this tool to any folder or learning module in the course from the BUILD tab.

Note: The Registrar Exam Schedule tool only displays information for final exams booked through the Office of the Registrar.

Too add a Registrar Exam Schedule, click on the ADD CONTENT LINK button at the top of your course page and click on REGISTRAR CLASS SCHEDULE.

On the following page, enter a title for your Exam Schedule and click SAVE.

Once you have clicked SAVE, you will return to the folder that you started from and a link to the Class Schedule you just created will be displayed. When your students click on the link, they will see something similar to the image shown below:
