OpenOffice Grades Extension
The WebCT OWL Grade Book tool provides an easy and convenient way for instructors to manage grades and distribute them to students. Grades can also be exported for manipulation in Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice Spreadsheet.

Installing the Grades extension
To install the extension, double-click the .oxt file and follow the prompts in the Extension Manager.
Using the Grades extension
The macros provided by the extension will appear under the Grades menu in Calc.
These macros assume that the first three rows contain the column title, perfect score, and weight. If nothing is entered for the perfect score of a column, a value of 100 is assumed. Student values should begin on the 4th row. It is also assumed that an empty row indicates the end of the data for that column.
In the example above, we can see that column C holds the data for Test 3, which is out of 75 and has a weight of 0.25. Column D was generated by applying the Percentage macro from the Grades menu to column C. Column E was generated by applying the Round and Bump 9's macro to column D.
