Printing in a Genlab

How much does printing cost?

Printing in the labs is charged at $.09 per page.
Print cards are available at any Western Library, and can be charged at any photocopier.

How do I Release my print job? 

At a Genlab machine, print your document as you normally would.  Use the default printer (\\tardis.vm.its.uwo.pri\genlabs).  To release the print job to the printer:
At the Print Release Station:
            Insert your print card into the card reader
            Type your userid into the Userid window that pops up.  Press Enter (twice)
            Select your print job(s)
            Click on the Print Selected Print Jobs button

How do I print on the front and back of the same page (duplex)?

Click on File -> Print
In the Print window click on the Properties button located beside the printer name.
On the Setup Tab click on the Drop-down menu under Duplex
Choose either   Open to left or Open to Top
Click OK
Note:  you will be charged for both sides of the paper.

How do I print more than one page on a sheet?                  

Click on File -> Print
In the Print window click on the Properties button located beside the printer name.
On the Setup Tab click on the Drop-down menu under Layout
Choose the number of pages you wish to print on one sheet
Click OK
