General Student Computing Labs (Genlabs) Access

Every active student at Western has a user ID to access the General Student Computing Labs.

Your user ID is the same as your Western Identity, which is used for Western email and OWL access.

Your Genlabs password is set to be the same as your Western Identity password when you do any of the following:

• Activate your Western Identity
• Change your Western Identity password
• Synchronize your Western Identity password

• ITS Services Monitor
• System Health Status
• Maintenance Calendar
• Known Phishing Attempts
•
