There are two default email quota levels for Western email addresses. Faculty, Staff and Graduate Students receive a 250Mb allocation. Undergraduate Students receive a 50Mb allocation. Due to a recent upgrade in the central disk
environment for Western ITS, and as part of an investigation into a
potential change in the Western faculty/staff email system, ITS has
elected to waive email disk charges for Faculty, Staff and Graduate student
email addresses for the period of May 1,
2012 to April 30, 2013. Quota levels
for users are intended to accommodate current usage and provide for a
reasonable expectation of growth. If you should experience a
situation where email disk space levels are not adequate or you have questions about email quota increases, please contact
the ITS Help Desk at 519 661-3800 to determine next steps.
Default
quota levels, disk usage and costs will be revisited for the 13/14
fiscal year and charges for additional quota may be reinstated at that time. Default quotas for undergraduate email addresses will not change (50Mb).
Additional quota can be purchased for $5/GB for the 2012-13 Academic Year (to April 30, 2013). Please contact the
