How Do I ... Setup my Windows Phone for Western Email

Introduction

This procedure will outline the configuration required to access your Western email account. These instructions were taken from a Nokia and may vary slightly dependant upon the make/model of the phone that is running the Windows Mobile platform.

Procedure

-Tap on Settings Icon

-Scroll down the list of system settings and Tap Email + Accounts

-Tap Add an account

-Scroll down and tap on Advanced setup

-Enter your Western email address and Western password and tap Next

- Tap Internet email as the kind of account you are setting up

-Enter the incoming email server - imap.uwo.ca

-Choose IMAP4 as the account type

-Enter your user ID

-Enter the outgoing (SMTP) email server name - smtp.uwo.ca

-Leave all other settings as defaults and tap Sign in
