• SSB 4230 Rental Details

General Information:

• The lab is located in the Support Services Building (Rm 4230).
• Class sizes are limited to 10, though 18 participant systems are available.
• The training lab connects through the high speed network.
• The instructor's system connects to a multimedia projector.

The Training Lab is equipped with:

• 19 Dual-boot iMac systems with 21.5-inch monitors
• Intel Core Duo processors (3.06 GHz) with 4GB RAM
• 500GB Serial ATA hard drive
• Slot-loading 8x SuperDrive (DVD/CD); one SDXC card slot; four USB 2.0 ports; one FireWire port
• headphones
• shared HP 5M printer

System Applications:

Rental arrangements include the use of software already installed in the lab and instructional aids such as a white board and a multimedia projector connected to the instructor's system.

There will be an additional charge for installing and testing software if a special setup of the lab is required (at regular "Technical Assistance - Time and Materials" rates listed in the ITS Services Document). Instructors are responsible for proper software licensing in the lab if they choose to bring in their own software. These arrangements must be made at least two weeks in advance of the scheduled class.

Booking the Training Lab (SSB 4230)

Reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance and can be charged to a Western departmental account. Affiliates will be invoiced for these services.

• Western Member: $65.00 per session (morning / afternoon)
• Affiliate: $130.00 per session (morning / afternoon)
