In order to reduce security vulnerabilities the decision has been made to decommission the Western clear-text (unencrypted) wireless service (SSID uwo) effective May 31st, 2012.

According to our access logs you are continuing to make use of this wireless service.

Please be aware you must transition your wireless device to the encrypted wireless service. (SSID uwosecure-v2) prior to May 31st. Instructions on how to configure your device for this wireless service can be found at  http://www.uwo.ca/its/doc/hdi/wireless  If you require assistance with this configuration procedure please contact the ITS helpdesk as documented at: http://www.uwo.ca/its/helpdesk
