Resource Calendar Change Notice

You are receiving this message because you have been identified as a department owner of resource calendars used to book meeting rooms, projectors etc. In order to prepare for the pending web client upgrade a change to department resource calendars is required. If you have followed the recommendations off of our How Do I on Department Resource Calendars and your area is using one of the following external calendar applications, Lightning or Sun Java Outlook Connector (SJOC) and relying on a personal address book entry in order to book / invite a resource calendar your ability to manage room bookings will be directly affected.

Effective Thursday August 5, 2010 you will need to 1) Update the email address field associated with any resource calendar from calname@bitbucket to cal-calname@uwo.ca. 2) When modifying any future meetings that contain a reference to bitbucket you will need to replace the invitation with the updated address book entry.

This change to a standard email address will position us to receive proper notifications from potential attendees as to their intentions to attend the meeting. Please distribute this information as you feel necessary within your area. If you need further clarification or you get question that you are not comfortable in responding to, please contact myself.
