Information
- Ion beams are supplied by the 1.7 MV Tandetron accelerator
- A dedicated ion scattering chamber (the "941") houses a 4-axis manipulator and 2 surface barrier detectors.
- Computer control provides rapid throughput for Rutherford backscattering and ion channeling analysis (RBS-C).
