This Workshop consists of two half-day (3-hour) modules offered roughly a month apart and will require some at home reading and writing of reflection exercises. Please note: a minimum of 10 students must sign up for workshops to run.

Module I of the 2-module program deals with cultural self-awareness and encountering difference.

Pre-Module assignment: "My Culture" Reflection
Because cultural self-awareness is the foundation of intercultural understanding, students are required to write a 1-page (250 words) reflection. Students can use the following questions to guide them:
With an understanding of culture and difference established, this session will help students develop intercultural communication skills and identify the obstacles to intercultural relations. There will be pre-module work to complete that will be announced in Module I.
