Our goal is to help you develop your skills and realize your potential as a writer. To achieve this goal, we offer free comprehensive writing support to students, faculty, staff, and all other members of the Western University community.
Indigenous Services offer counselling services and programs to First Nations, Métis and Inuit students in an encouraging and supportive environment. We provide outreach and recruitment services through educational presentations to elementary, secondary, post-secondary and mature prospective students. Through the promotion of postsecondary education, First Nation Services relays information on Western’s services and programs, admission requirements, financial assistance, and student life. We are also pleased to offer a specialized research and resource book materials collection on Native issues.
SDC's Learning Skills Counsellors provide information and support to help Western students achieve academic success.
Learning Skills Services is for all students: undergraduate and graduate students, students who experience academic setbacks, as well as students who want to maintain exceptional academic standing.
Western's Student Development Centre provides professional, confidential psychological services free of charge to all Western students. We are located on the fourth floor of Western's Student Services Building.
Student Development Services has staff members who specialize in assisting students with various disabilities to adjust to the university environment. These disabilities include, but are not limited to, vision, hearing and mobility impairments, learning disabilities, chronic illnesses, chronic pain, and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorders.
